help..short header's, and auto trans????????

help..short header's, and auto trans????????

what should i do.I can't run long tubes on my car is it worth it as far as $$$$$ to do the short headers..$$$ vers HP gains. and should i flush the trans or drop the pan on a service...what will clean it better..thanks for your help...97 A4

Why can't you run long tubes? Emissions? and shorties vs stock, yeah I would go with shorties...

Shorties well give you a seat of the pants increase and keep all emmisions intact. Pull the pan and change the filter, refill, then pull the cooler line, rubber hose near radiator, place in a large drain pan, start the car and run for a few seconds, then top off the trans and repeat till fresh fluid comes out the cooler line.
