help with roller rockers

I want to get a little more juice out of my car so i was thinking of doing those new 1.7 rr from scorpion.

Now will those 1.7 rr cause serious wear on my motor over time?

Will i need tuning?

And how would everyone compare lt4 rr to cranes and scorpions, when it comes to performance, compatibilty with a bolt-on car, and quality?

Thank-you for any info.

you wont need tuning (unless you wanna raise your rev limit).

i cant predict what ill eat tommorrow so theres really no way i can predict how much wear 1.7 rr's would cause on your motor (i doubt itd be of any significance though if at all)

lt4 rr's ARE crane rr's if im not mistaken. most ive heard say comps are better cause thyre rebuildable (i ran comps btw). i dont know about the scorpions (others might).

id say go for them are they SA or NSA? i think youll get a nice jump in power out of them hth

Everyone on the board is talking about NSA 1.7 scorpions for SBC, but i recently found out that scorpion sells SA for LT1's.

the stock valve springs will not support lift higher then .491 on a stock cam. with 1.7rr's lift will be at about .520. 1.6rr's will work with .490 lift.
