Help! quick question!!!!

I'm doing tghe LT4 KM and I'm disconnecting my battery. What size socket is the negative terminal?

If you HAVE to avoid trying a few different size sockets... ...it took a 9mm for mine.

My socketi s too long.....can I just do it with my hand real quickly?

Mine was too.
I had to use an open end wrench.
The 8mm was too tight so I had to go with 9mm.
You can try by hand, hope you ate your wheaties

I ended up using the 8MM.......the terminal was too loose, so the ratchet wasn't really doing anything because it wasn't lined up. So I used my hand just to hold the socket as I spun it. I did it, finally.

When I used a 8MM a few times it stripped mine, so I got some new bolts and now use a 5/16, it's a snugger fit.

I just tried disconnecting my negative battery terminal and the nut is stripped. I cant get it off...what should i do now?

5/16" will work.
