Help Quick - Bleeding Coolant Lines
Help Quick - Bleeding Coolant Lines
I did the heater core flush just a bit ago and now am trying to bleed to the coolant system. I originally followed the information on Shoebox's website but when I went to fill the system up through the radiator, nothing came out of the 2 bleeders??? Then I tried running the car for a bit and not much happened there.
Can someone please quickly help me out on how to do this since I'm in the driveway right now. Thanks all

Re: Help Quick - Bleeding Coolant Lines
with the bleeders open keep filling until it won't take any more. Then start the car and continue filling if it will take more. You may still have to drive it for awhile to work the air out. And recheck it after the engine has cooled. I was adding coolant for a few days after my last flush.
Re: Help Quick - Bleeding Coolant Lines
Am I supposed to have the radiator cap on, both bleeder screws open, then run the car till the thermostat opens? Then add fluid through the resevoir until I see fluid coming out of both bleeder valves?
