HELP! Puddle of gas on the ground...

I have a puddle of fuel under my car. It's leaking at the rate of 1 gallon of fuel a day. What should I check first?

it SEEMS like it's leaking from the very middle of the car. I haven't had time to take a good look at it yet.

I would first suggest taking a look around the fuel filter. There could be a bad connection around there causing your fuel leak. After that I would follow the fuel line from the fuel pump to the front of the car and see if you can see any holes, leaks, wet spots, etc. If none of that works, I would try to follow the smell if at all possible to narrow down the area of the car its comming from.

Put it up on some ramps and have a look
Good luck

Lift it and look at fuel filter & fuel lines. Fix it ASAP, it's dangerous...

lol, sorry, I didn't have the car with me when I posted about this, and it was way to dark for me to really check things out that night. Anyway, changed the fuel filter, the bracket that kinda supports the fuel filter was bent. I bent it back and hooked everything back up, it works great now, no leaks!
