help with proform valve covers

I just bought some black crinkle valve covers from proform, and I know I can use the breathers with it, but I need to know how to do the oil cap part. The cover with the oil cap hole doesn't have a grommet. Do I need one? Also, how would the PCV system work now? I bought a brand new PCV valve, but if I have breathers, do I NEED the PCV valve? Help please.

Use either breathers or PCV, not both. The oil cap is a push in fit, isn't it? If it is it will need a grommet.

I've got the chromed aluminum version of those valvecovers. I'm using (2) Billet Specialties breathers with "Heartbeat" milled in them. I just pull one of them out to add oil. Your PCV valve is in your intake, not your valvecover.

Check out my website to see pictures. There are 2 engine pictures in the upper left of the opening page (they take a while to load). They will enlarge if you click on them.

One of your covers should have (2) holes...The other has (1). The (2) hole cover should go on the passenger side with the vacuum hose from the t-body going to the back one and a oil fill/breather in the front one. The drivers side just takes a breather.
