Help with Proform shift light?

I installed the shift light today. As soon as I start the engine the light comes on and stays on regardless of where the RPM adjustment is.
I have the power coming from the power window fuse, and the tach lead is attached to the MSD Digital 6.
Anyone have any ideas what is going on here?
Mike

Bummer, that's alot of work to pull back out.
I sent a message to the Proform help email also. Can't wait for their reply.

I returned the proform light and bought an MSD LED light and RPM switch. I had two Proform lights and neither one worked.
Hookup was to power source in fusebox, signal from Dig 6 , and ground under the dash. I don't recall where you hooked it up when not using MSD box.

Hmm, my friend and I both have proform lights and they work great. Power and ground under the dash, tach signal from the correct wire on the back of the pcm.

Don't know what it was with the ones I had.
Proform tech guy said they have that problem sometimes.
I liked the adjustable limit feature rather than pills like MSD has, but got damn tired of rewiring the things.

The only part of the instructions that I can read is it states do not hook shift light up to MSD ignitions and only attach to tach terminal. I know this is a old thread
