HELP PLEASE!! Car stalling on bad gas?

Hey guys...need some help here...
The car was down for like 6-7 months with about an 1/8 tank of gas and was never cranked up within that time frame.

Finally cranked it up Monday, filled the tank with 93 octane and it has ran great since. Up until today (Wednesday). Coming to work it stalled out on me. I pulled over, and turned the car over a few times...It finally started after several attempts of pumping the gas and turning the key...Once again it ran good...it seemed to be only when I would let off the gas petal (On occasions) that it would die out on me. So this happened about 4-5 times on the way to work.

Could this be due to the little bit of bad gas that was left in the car and possible clogged injectors? How would I know if the injectors are the problem? Is there an additive that is better than others to clean them out?

Sorry so long and thanks in advance...

change the fuel filter, and see what happens, seafoam is a good choice when it comes to cleaning the fuel system, nappa sells it

Thanks!!...I just went out and tried to crank it and it's not starting now...It turns over like it wants to start but it never does...The check Engine light stays on too...

Is there an easy way to determine wether it's electric or fuel? (While I'm here at work)...

Thanks again,
J

You think that would make the Check Engine light come one though?

What you should get is a chilton for the year camaro you have and check how to access the diagnostic codes. It's easy, they should just be number codes and you can reference them in the book. then post either the number codes or the problems they say tehy are in the book and I will try and help you from there. I know a problem I had like that for my 85 camaro and it was something wrong with the fuel pump in the gas tank. I don't know exactly what fixed it, but now it's owrking fine and hasn't given me any problems since. To check for this problem, turn your key to the on position. You should hear the fuel pump prime the line pressure for about 2 seconds. If you don't hear anything, you might need a new relay or something might have shorted or something. I am still new to this so it could be something entirly different. That why I recommended the code lookup first. Hope this helps

autozone does the scanning for free, so get your car there and get it scanned for codes, then take it from there

Fuel Filter must be your first move. Very easy to do.

Thanks for the tip Metaldrgn...I was going to do that the next trip oput to the car (When I get out of work) ...I also must say that I did change the fuel filter right before it sat for the time it did but who know what that gas may have done to it...
