Ive been working on my car now for way to long and have spent way too much money to have this one problem beat me. Recently Ive put in a most of the parts listed below and Ive had my computer retuned twice. My car idling lopes alot but also acts as though it wants to shut off by the rpm's dropping then jumping back up and it runs really rich you can smell the gas through the exhaust really bad. But when driving it it runs fine exept it has a lot of shake in it at lower speeds in high gaers like going 55 in fith gearr and when you accelerate its like it wants to chug up to speed. But if you drop it to third and floor it snaps you back and takes off. It also gets horrible gas milage. Any suggestions or comments will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Juat replace plugs and wires, O2 sensors, fuel injectors

 

First thought is 02's, did you get Delco's or Bosch's? Any SES lights?

Might try cleaning out your IACV

 

Triple check plug wire routing.

 

I replaced the o2s with boschand about the ses light it will flash after driving it for a while but no codes will come up. Thanks for the help and any more ideas will be appreciated.

 

did you delete the egr? if not, check that.

 

When you start it up, does it idle fine for a few minutes, then start running rough and then an SES comes up? If so it is likely your o2 sensors. See if you can find someone to scan the car when the SES comes on, or leave it running when you run into autozone and have them check it. Some members have had bad luck with the Bosch versions, I would put a set of delco's in and see what happens

 

Could your air pump being running all the time causing the o2's to think there is a lean condition when really there is not?
