Help Please

If there are hot spots on the flywheel and pressure plate do they need to be replaced? No grooves, just hot spots.

Depends on how bad they are. If you have a decent machine shop around or a full service NAPA, they can turn them down if they aren't too bad.
It's better to replace them. If you are running a stock set up, they aren't that expensive to replace.

I would just replace them that way you don't to worry about it and have a piece of mind. Like if someone machined it wrong took too much off or something along them lines
