Help Please!

I just went out to start my car and it started up but died. I started it back up, and it was idling really low wanting to quit. I put it in the garage and it was still running but at only about 500 RPM, it should be at about 1000. Im assuming its fuel related. Could the fuel pump be going bad? It ran fine all day today. Its probably been 20k since the fuel filter. Any ideas?

Are you sure you didn't run out of gas?

Yes, Im positive I have almost a full tank, but this morning I went out and it was running fine. Maybe I just had some dirt in the fuel or something? Im gonna get my fuel filter changed, its about time for that anyways.

I'd try cleaning out your idel air control valve, and a new fuel filter couldnt hurt either.
