Re: help!!! passenger side header removal?

You need to carefully (stress carefully) get the car up on jackstands as high as safely feasible first off. You can get to the motor mount on the passenger side, remove the starter of course, and once you get the bolt out jack the passenger side of the engine up about an inch maybe a little more, the Jethots will feed down from the bottom at a pretty high angle not quite vertical but you'll see. If you had access to a lift that would be the safest and best way. I didn't as do many so I had to install mine from the bottom on the driveway but it took some tall jackstands.

Good luck

i got it jacked up enough where i can get under it easily, i unbolted the single motor mount bolt but there was not enough room for it to slide out, it hit something b4 it could come all the way out.

Man wish I could "beam me up Scotty" over there and help you, it's hard over text to get the full picture. It may take a couple inches jacked up, I'm sure your spark plugs are removed, it shouldn't be hitting the ac pump but might check, all that is remaining is the kmember and block clearancing, it should slide right out, it definitely comes out like it goes in through the bottom. Your AC lines shouldn't be hitting they are up higher by the front shock mounts. I'd say check the acpump and remove it if you have to (shouldn't have to though). Wish I could help you more man.

I didn't have any trouble with mine.... well, I guess it made it easier since the heads were off when I set them in place. I'd recommend that approach!
