HELP NOW! car quit and i have to get home!!
I started my car and let it run for about 50 minutes (i got sidetracked) and went out to leave, turned the lights on and it died. HELP!
Holy crap dude, 50 minutes of just idleing? I bet that sucker got hot and something burned up. These engines gets hot hot, and when they do, they act weird.
Sorry I dont know what to tell you. But explain more...will it try to start but just not turn over? Are the dash lights completely off and fuel pump wont even come on?(if thats the case, its ignition switch)
More you can describe of it will help us help you out.
Good luck

okay, i just put a new alternater in it and nothing.....its doing the same thing as before, its clicking like its trying to send spark, but nothings getting to the engine. It couldent be the starter cuz the started wouldent make it die like it did, i got it started yesterday but i had no power to the radio at all, thats why i though it was the alternater. please help
So you tried jump starting the car, right? If you haven't yet, that is a must, regardless of how new your battery is. My battery is 2 years old and if I leave the dome light on for about an hour the battery dies.
prolly a stupid question but do you have gas in the car?
side note i've let my car idle b4 in the winter to warm up for extended periods of time then got side tracked and nothing ever went wrong, cept it was nice and toasty inside

yeah i have gas in it, ive got something like 3/4 of a tank, no i have not tried to jump it yet and im not sure how i can right now cuz i have it in a one car garage and no other cars to jump it with at the moment. Its at my girlfriend house right now, and i have a charger at my house, should i try to figure out a way to get the charger over here and just let the battery charge up for a couple of hours or even over night? I just cant see it being my battey tough, its only started my car maybe 150 times, and im certenly not an expert, but if my car was already running, what would the battery have to do with it dying?
