help needed... installing LTs as we speak.

Im doing my header install throught this weekend, and im taking off the alternator and i notice one of the brackets goes to a manifold bolt. What am i supposed to do with this bracket when I put the long tubes in, because it doesnt look like the bracket will work right with other bolts. Help me pleeeease. thanks! Also does anyone know what size the manifold/ypipe flange bolts are?

EDIT: So far i got off the starter, dipstick, both manifolds, altenator. Its about time to do the motor mounts. Where should i jack the engine up from when doing the mounts? any tips to make it easier would be nice too. thanks

Toss it. There are plenty of brackets left to hold the alternator safely.

Pitch it, the alternator is already held in securely by three other bolts.

I only needed to take out the passenger's side motor mount bolt, and jacked it up with some blocks of wood under the oil pan. Just needs to go up an inch or two.

I ditched the bracket on the 1st header bolt. Haven't had 1 problem. It's very secure as it is.
