I installed an MSD 6AL and I put the box underneath the heater core on the inside of the car. I grounded the box to a bolt that already had another grounding cable there under the dash (I figured it was a good ground if there was a stock cable there). I connected the positive cable to the fuse block on the passenger side of the fender (that little red box). The car starts right up, but it ticks pretty loudly, enough to annoy the hell out of me. I searched this topic, and saw that some people had a similar problems, but no one posted what they did to get rid of it. Does every 6AL tick? Or is it from a loose/poorly attached cable? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
