help on mods
I have recently acquired a 1994 Camaro Z28 with a 6-speed manual. I have built a lot of off-road trucks in my past but never done a quarter-mile racer and am wanting to do so with this car. I am looking for some help on what modifications to do to this vehicle to make it worth my while. I plan on taking the block to my local shop and have it cleaned, machined and bored out. But looking for parts for the engine but like I said before I'm use to building high torque trucks for the deep mud. If you could help me out or just send me in the correct direction that would be great!!!
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!
Start with the exhaust and air intake. Then you can do a heads and cam set up from elliottsportworks.com or advancedinduction.com and if you are planing on a rebuild go with a 383 or 396 build. You will need supporting mods like larger injectors also. It depends on how much power you want; with these heads and cam set ups you can easily make well over 400rwhp with a stock bottom end.
Whats your budget? How much power do you want to push to the wheels? Do you want the car to be well mannered on the street? There are a lot of different ways you can go fast just depends on the answers to those 3 questions so you could choose a route be it either FI, N/A, or spraying
