Help with mods

Ok, my car is mostly stock except for the mods in my sig. My goal is to make 400 rwhp minimum and would be nice to get into the low 12's. I need help deciding what route to take for my next upgrade. I live in California so the car also needs to be smogable, and it is also a daily driver.

A) Ported heads, XE230/236 Cam, 3500 Stall, 3.73 Gears, Headers, and tune.

B) ATI Procharger setup and tune.

well a big cam and heads is going to be almost impossible in Cali from what i hear unless you can pay to pass the smog test. The procharger will blow your bottom end. So either small heads and cam or you will have to rebuild your bottom end then SC it.

hey man, im from Sac too. and smog is a F**ker. But, its gonna be hard to get 400rwhp, maybe at 400 at the crank is a litle more realistic. Once you get that much HP your gonna kill your rearend, and have to go to 12 bolt, and i gues going wiht the supercharger will destroy the bottom end. Best bet, new cam, ported heads, headers, cutout, and if you dont care about smog, build a stroker kit. But, good luck passing. but, if you want to go the easy route, put in some nitrous.
