help me please

ok here is the deal a few weeks ago i was driving the car, and i hit a big puddle of water, after that the car was surging real bad, well i got it home, just 2 blocks, and i let it sit for a bit, when i turn it back on it runs fine, go for a drive not 1 problem, well i took it to the track that next week, and it cuts out on me once, but nothing after that, well i get to the track and i ran a 9.3, i usually ru a 8.4 so i lost alot of time not good, well i go home and i went back a week later and ran the same time, well this time while i was driving home it was surging real bad, and cutting out, running real rough, and didnt want to pick up speed at all
well the next morning i took it to a gm dealer and pulled 2 codes a 64 a,nd a 48

well the passanger side o2 was at a i think at 6mv while the driver side was at 160 mv could be .6 and 1.60

anyways the guys said it was a bad o2, may have got ruined when i hit the water

the deal with the maf was for some reason the air filter fell off, and the maf was dirty

well doday i pull the o2, and clean it up, and cleaned the maf

put in back in, went for a drive car seemed ok, then i went wot and as soon as i did that and let off the gas it was doing the same thing over again

help me please, i a about to order a new o2 soon just tight on money

You didn't take the MAF apart?

If you didn't then your maf if probally bad now. You probally messed up the sensors inside the maf.

I agree with your friend... Take the Opti off and make sure all is well before going any further.
