Help Me Please....
I just recently bought a 1997 camaro ss with 75k miles.. and it seems to be acting up.. first off it doesnt have the manual with it so can anyone tell me what the little light on you dash that looks like water with an arrow going down means? it recently came on. then it sounds like i have an exhuast leak when i acellerate there is a tick tick tick doesnt sound like it is coming from the engine.... and if anyone knows of a good lt1 mechanic around the gainesville / ocala FL area please tell me. i am also goign to post this in the florida section... thank you.
yeah thanks... the thing is i dont know for sure its an exhaust leak that is what i would guess.. the main thing is that like when i am going at like under 2k and give it a little gas it does not sound happy at all like TICK TICK TICK TICK and then as the rpms get up it gets faster and then it is drowned out by rest of exhuast.. i mean i guess its hard for you to tell but any help would be nice.
but saying it is an exhuast leak what type of an exhuast system (headers... full exhuast...) do you think i should go with i like the mean growl but dont want it LOUD. i am planning on getting being around 450 rwhp when i get my act together and finish research.. so i dont wanna upgrade again.
Thanks.

Get an electronic version of the owner's manual, here.
Low coolant sensor
It is common for the low coolant sensor to act up. It may be dirty or just need to be replaced. Unplugging it won't hurt anything, but will turn the lamp off. First, be sure that your coolant level is full. Pull the radiator cap off and check it in the morning before you start it up. It should be near the top.
