I am looking to purchase a full exhaust system for my z. These are the following parts ive picked out i just need some advice and opinions Thanks

1) SLP Loudmouth
2) Pacesetter LT's w/ emissions
3) Pacesetter Y-pipe

Do long tube headers really have that hard of a time passing emmisions testing? I live in NJ but i dont know how strict the laws are here. My uncle does own a body shop so im sure he knows some people

I was also wondering if it is possible to hook up a catalytic converter to this set up and if that may help it pass emmisons.

Yes you could weld in a cat to that system if need be. Some states have a visual inspection to make sure the exhaust and cats are in the stock location though. I'd suggest that you check into your emissions laws a bit more before you spend the money. Also the LT's witha the loudmouth will be an extremely loud system. If you doa search on these boards you will find a lot of guys not liking the loudmouth with headers and no cat. Any questions feel free to contact us!!

So that set up is extremly loud? how about the MAC mids, what does that sound like? i know those headers will have no problem passing emissions

 

Any headers with that system will be pretty dang loud.........
