Help me out here! A.I.R. issues

In the top left pic of that link. Thats where my problem exists. The damn rubber elbow keeps getting way too hot, then brittle, then it gets holes in it. I just had the AIR pump replaced and the car never overheats, but just that damn rubber elbow. Any suggestions?

That means the check valve is bad. Thats the black cone-shaped device just to the right of the rubber elbow, closer to the exhaust manifold. It is there to keep hot exhaust gasses from flowing back toward the elbow and the pump. You need to replace the check valve.

Which is the same advice that was given to you the last time you posted this same question. Any chance you might try it to see if it works?

You asked for advice before and I gave it to you. It was made plain in more than one post. Can't see how you would have missed that.
You decided to do something else and it did not fix it. Now you complain that the problem still exists, but you did not even try the advice I gave you. Would that not frustrate you?

Alright I'll give it to you. Anyway Shoebox, my fault on calling you a smarta$$. You'd be pissed off to if you had to work 12 hour shifts 7 days a week until this damn Iraq **** was over too. Like you said.....frustration. Thanks for your help in my previous posts about this problem as well as correcting me on this one.

Also note that those 'check valves' protect the AIR pump from the exhaust gases... a bad check valve can lead to AIR pump failure..
In other words replace it promptly or the AIR pump will fail..
