help with Low Traction light
Everytime I turn left or right like into a parking stall the low traction light and sometimes the ABS/ASR light comes on. The car is hard to stop as if I have no brakes. Could this be ASR unit or anti-lock brake pump?
any ideas/help appreciated
thanks

I had about the same problem with the ABS on my Trans Am. The lights would come on and I'd LOSE my brakes for a brief moment.
My problem ended up being a poor connection. I just went around to the sensors on the front wheels and rear differential, unplugged them, slightly bent the prongs over to one side a little, plugged them back in. Did the same with the connectors under the hood at the ABS system. It never happened again after that. That is pretty easy and free to try... I'd definitely give that a shot before spending big $$$ on parts. If that doesn't work, get your ABS system scanned and they should be able to tell you exactly what the problem is. The ABS system is pretty easy to troubleshoot... IF you have the scan tool to do it
