Okay, had the clutch changed and now the oil pressure is huvering just above the red. It took about a month to do it though. Before the clutch change the oil pressure was 3/4 of the way up the guage and right after it was just a quarter of the way up. now the Z has a few miles on it to say the least but I would like to check on any of the simple things first before I pull the pump. Thanks in advance for the help. Oh by the way the car is a 94Z M6.

 

When you took the trans out did you tip the engine? If so maybe you bent or broke the oil pressure sender.

 

I was thinking it might be the oil pressure sending unit. I think that it is on the back of the intake rite. I will take a look at replacing it this week end.
