Stage, hold the brake, rev up the motor a little but not too much, hold it at a steady RPM (try 1500 and go from there), and then on the third yellow, let off the brake and throw down the gas at the same time.

wouldnt stalling at the line and then mashing the pedal get you a lot of wheel spin?? maybe i misuderstood, but when i had my other t/a i just feathered it off the line from idle. best 60ft on bald bfg's was 2.08 using this technique. tried stalling a few times but i just spun through 1 & 2 gear.

I dunno, I have crap tires and 2.73's and am bone stock on an LT1 and I stall it up a little and I don't really spin at all. Just depends on the car I suppose.

I stall it up a little higher then idle about 1100 or so and then when I feel that I have traction I slam it. I have bad tires right now though so take that as you wish. Just try different things on your car, you will find it out.
