help with jethot LT install

ok guys, can anyone tell me how to get the drivers side header in? the passenger side went in with no trouble at all, but the driver's side won't go. i already took off the oil filter, sending unit, steering knuckle, and valve cover and it didn't do any good.

any help would be appretiated.

sure I can try, you did slide off the #1 primary right? it goes on after you get the main header setup in there. it should slide in at about a 25-30 degree angle from the bottom with no problems especially with what all you removed already. In fact I didn't have to pully my valve cover. then you slide in the #1 primary and line it up with the heads. You should not have any problems on the driver side it's the passenger side that's a pain, which undoing that motor mount and raising the block about an inch made it easier to slide in. You do have your car high enough I'm assuming because the passenger side requires it to be really high if your working in your carport, etc. A lift makes this entire job easier.

Where is it hanging up or appearing to hang up?

yeah with all the stuff you got off it should fly in there.
You are going in from the bottom right?
I did not remove the valve cover or the sending unit, I did take the top of the steering joint apart, went right in.

well, i do have the #1 primary off and i've attempted to get it in from the top and bottom both. from underneath it slides up about half way and gets stuck between the body and the k-member. no one had to drop the suspension or jack the motor to get the driver's side in? and yes, it's jacked up plenty high enough, it's like 3 feet up in the air so i have plenty of room to get at it. i'm going out of town today but when i get back tonight i'll give it another attempt.

Well,I never did Jet Hots. But they are a copy of Hookers. It SHOULD go in from the bottom. How much more room do you need?If you have to,jack up the motor instead of fighting it.
