i am installing my lts right now and my emissions controls are very hard to take off, plus a limited set of tools doesnt help. however i was noticing that the driver side AIR connection will work but if you look at the pic of the pass side header http://community.webshots.com/photo/...96000430sIPkEm

the egr or AIR (not sure) bung is at the front and if you look at the pic of where the pass. side is theres no way to connect it.

did jet hot weld the bung in the wrong spot ?

 

I'm no expert but the first pic you have looks correct to me. Both of my AIR connections were at the front of the motor. Maybe you got sent the headers for the wrong year? I'm not too familiar with 93 LT1's, but by the look of the stock pictures you provided of the exhaust I would think you got the incorrect headers from Jet Hot. Do you have to have the AIR? I just got mine deleted and haven't had any problems so far with passing inspection or anything.

 

Nope i have no emissions down by me, so im in the process of pulling the egr but the air check valve behind the intake is hindering my progress very much so i turned in for the night, will start again tommarow.

 

Looks like AIR provisions are in the right spot on both headers, but there is not an EGR provision on the passenger header.

 

The emmisions connection on the passenger side manifold is different on the 93's from the rest of the years. In 94+ models the fitting is in the front, same as the driver side. It looks like they gave you headers for the wrong year.

 

alright, im going to call and tell them i have the wrong headers, and ask if i can just be sent race ready headers since my emissions will be gone today, all i need is a block off plate for egr and a lil one for AIR check valve thing in the intake right? also all race ready headers match up to all year LT1s right, its just the placement of the emission bungs that make them different?
