Crane 10530 roller lifters good for 306 install?!
I was going to use the stock roller lifters in my cc 306 cam install since they only have 10K miles on them, BUT I searched and read a guy that CRUSHED two lifters after his first run at the track with this cam. I dont go to the track often ( 2-3 times a year ) but this IS my daily driver. Are the crane # 10530 roller lifters good and strong enough for the 306 or are they just pretty much stock replacements?! Thanks---
Anyone know if these would be worth buying or not as a "cheap" alternative to the other roller lifters......are they better than stock? I just dont want to put them in and have them fail like the stock ones will probably do.....thanks--

A good set of stock lifters should be ok with this cam, I'm sure a lot of people are running them succesfully. The crane lifters are stock replacement, I've used them with a 230/236 cam and reused them with LE3, so far so good. Another option is the comp R lifters or promagnum lifers 875-16, but I've read that they're too sensitive to lash settings.

Thanks guys, I guess I will just stick with my stock lifters since the only good replacement are "sensitive to my wallet", hahaha
(considering they are $350 and wont do anything to benefit me). How do you guys feel about the LUNATI R roller lifters that let you change a cam without taking off the manifold?! Thats pretty cool, but would it even give any performance compared to the stock ones?! The lifters in my motor only have about 10K on a rebuild so they should be plenty strong. I appreciate it--
