there still not connected but i know it comes on. the ses light came on after i changed the plugs and wires and it started cutting out when it got warm and it done it the next day it it hasnt came on since.. would it stay off if one of them is connected?

 

I would think it would stay on if either O2 were disconnected. Without O2 sensors there's no closed loop as the PCM would not know if it was rich or lean. It would seriously effect emmissions, and probably plenty else.

Did you say you found the harness ends the O2 sensors connect to? See if there's anything plugged into them.

 

no i didnt find the harness ends i was in a bit of a hurry when i noticed all this.
