Ive decided to do a cam and roller rockers..although im not sure what brand and what sizes i should go with..gererally i see people going w/ the 1.6 RR but im not sure wiether your suppose to get alligning or non-alligning? Also can anyone through out some good brands and sizes for my mods in my sig....I'd like to spend close to 800 bucks

 

Your situation sounds like the perfect scenario for the LT4 hotcam kit. Everything is included minus gaskets and the timing chain, and it's under $600 for the kit. That leaves you $200 for the timing chain, gaskets, and other miscellaneous things.

The kit comes with 1.6 self-aligning rockers.

The way I look at it is, you're gonna have the whole top end apart so you may as well replace it all. New lifters, push rods, valve springs, retainers, locks, shims, rockers, timing set and the cam. You can also work the intake a little bit since it will be off. Now you don't have to do all of that but since its apart who would want to go digging back in again to do it later.
