Help I Snapped Another Bolt..this Time In The Head!!!(pic)
man will this nightmare ever end.... i was just about finished putting my car back together when..... me that has a over torquing problem snapped another bolt this time in the head.... the bolt i am referring to is the valve cover bolt please any input would be great
If you buy a set of reverse drill bits, I have a snap on set, they will work for you and most times in a case like this you will not drill all the way through the bolt. That bolt is not locked in very tight. I can almost guarantee if you get a set, they will work and you will use them time and time again. Buy a kit with the reverse drill bits and extractors in one kit. This way if the bits don't work you have a hole drilled for the extractor that is the correct size for the hole.
USE A CENTER PUNCH BEFORE YOU START DRILLING!!!!!!!!!!!!
