Ok, so here is my problem.

The car 94 Z28.

The problem: When I start the car and take off the ebrake the dims don't come on when its dark out. I can turn on the switch and they still don't come on. I can hit the passenger dim with my hand and make it come on but not the drivers. I can turn on my fog lights and both of them comeon however when I turn my brights on all of the lights go out and just the 2 brights are on! Do I have a bad relay? I'm guessing its a loose wire for the passenger dim. And the drivers dim was working the other night. I need help, because I can't see and its dark out right now lol. Anyone?

 

The same power feeds the low and high beams, so I would look into the connections at the headlights. BTW, when you turn on the brights, the fog lamps are supposed to go off. You probably just never noticed it before because the low beams were actually on (not out, like they are now).

 

Hmm. I coulda swore that the every light in the front end came on when the brights are turned on. Hopefully its just a loose connection. I checked the relays under the hood and they seemed to be working fine. Anyone else have any suggestions? I'm going out to figure this out in a bit. Thanx.
