Angry help!! How coolant light!!

The low coolant light came on about 2 days ago, the coolant level is fine. What might have triggered this light and what can I do to turn it off?

Re: help!! How coolant light!!

i had the same problem a few months ago. my low coolant light would come on and off, so i had my coolant flushed, but it still did it. the coolant level was fine. then i blew a head gasket, got the head gasket fixed. now my light hasnt come on since. it was weird. i think that i just must have had a slow leak through the head gasket, then it just blew one day. not fun at all, so i would be careful about just replacing the sensor.

If you're sure the coolant level isn't low then just disconnect the sensor wire, if the light turns off then it's the sensor for sure.

If someone else did the work on your car they could of just unplugged the sensor their selves... might wanna check on that.
