Help with Header Install
I knocked my installation out in one day with a friend (16 hours straight through though). I didn't have to remove the starter or oil filter like some people insist you have to do. I did have to remove the steering column thing. I was installing pacesetters, passenger side was a bitch, and drivers side literally fell right in (took out a temperature sensor in the head though). I've had all sorts of issues trying to get them to seal, but now the headers are sealed and sound great. You definately notice their effect in the higher rpms, the car will pull alot harder.
16 hours! i dont see whats taking you guys so long? whats holding you guys up? I literally slid both my headers in, in minutes, dont listen to the hype, if you know how to wrench on cars this is a cake walk. I work on porsches for a living, so dont comlain to me for lack of space! i was a bit hesitant to go with the pacesetters as i know in the past they had a bad rep, and after seeing how nice the expensive flps were i was really weary. The pacesetters are awesome pieces, they fit and sound great, and have tons of clearence
