Unhappy help! goin to the track today

this is goin to be the first time at the track with my car. My clutch is makin a strange noise every now and then from a dead stop. i am replacing it next week though. will it be ok for a few runs. What times should i expect with a 97 z with a 6 speed, stock rear, CAI, jet module, cat back, 52 mm throttle body, 160 thermo, and some free mods. i also have new dunlop 315s in the back?

First time, low 14s IF you catch on fast. I think you could squeeze a 13.8 out of it eventrually. My FIRST EVER run in my car was a 15.4@96mph w/ the ASR on. Best to date? 13.80@103.7mph. It takes LOTS of practice. The key to a good run is the launch. Your holeshot makes the run. I'm still learning as you can tell with my not so hot time. Try a 2.16 60' on that one with my BFG 255s out back....not good. If I still cant launch this fall, at least my LTs will give me mid 13s lol. Good luck man.

throwout bearing is what I would figure... depending on how many miles your clutch has, I would just go ahead and replace that also... since the TB is right at the clutch
