help on fixing taillights on trans am

Hey guys!

I'm trying to fix my taillights. One has major condensation, so im in the process of ripping them both apart and resealing them with black rtv. Its going great so far, with one apart, and no metal pieces broken! But, I was curious on one part. The actual "lens" with the spider like design with the black, the water has gotten into some of it and turned it from a solid black to a lighter color. Is there any way to fix this, or reorder just the lens part? Thanks!

yeah you'll probably have to just order a new one. From what your saying it sounds like its seperated from the backing. DUnno but either way you gonna have to change it if you want it lookin purty.

I don't believe that can be fixed. My bud did what you are doing but took it one step further and took out the red plastic portion and installed red LED bulbs instead. Factory rear clear tails

However, you'll notice the black bars still look pretty bad.

I'd say it's time to drop the dough on the 98+ Honeycomb lights.
