Question help with exhaust and engine

"you can take the dog out of the fight, but you cant take the fight out of the dog"
I got two qustsions. one, I have a 96 camaro ( the first year of obd 2 and the dual cats) if i were to put an after market exhaust that was ment for a 93-95 z, would i run into any trouble? I know i would have to use o2 sims on the rear o2 sensor plugs, but would the computer have any trouble reading the front o2 sensor if it were in a diffrent position. I know half of you are going to say just get lt's. I dont want lt's because this is a daily driven car and its about to be in germany with me for awhile, and its lowered, and germany has ****ty roads except for the autobahn. and when i ets out of the army i live in new jersey with more ****ty roads. so i just want to do shorties for now, and i have read that the shorties for 96-97 z's make almost no hp because they are so short. also, naturally aspirated, super charger, or turbo, what gets the best bang for the buck. Money is no problem, i got back from iraq about 5 months ago and im going agian in september, for 18 months, so i will have some deep pockets when i get back.

You shouldn't have any problems running the 93-95 exhaust. Either use some 02 sims or have the rear 02s deleted from your computer.

im not talking about the the rear o2 sims im talking about the front. i need to find out if the front o2 sensors have the same readings for obd 1 and 2. if they are in a diffrent position on the y pipe the obd2 computer may change around my air fuel ratio or some thing might happen.
