HELP Dynoed today wierd numbers????

I have a 96 TA with mods in my sig here were the numbers

287 hp @5000rpm
315 tq at4400rpm.

The graph is choppy throughout the whole hp and tq curves indicating an ignition problem? I have stock wires and plugs with 67000 miles.

Here is the kicker the AF ratio was pretty steady at 14.8 to 1 very lean. I had the pcm tuned and he leaned the mixture out bc he said most lt1's run rich could that be the problem.
I am gonna do MSD wires and NGK plugs tongiht will that help out at all?

I am actually kind of happy with the numbers considering the misfire and a lean aF what do you think it could make?

New wires and plugs could help solve your problems. But the thing that stood out to me is that you made 287rwhp @5000rpm, and you have a Hotcam!!!! Most Hotcam equipped z28's make power all the way to ~6000rpm, even higher in some cases. That is what that cam is made for. I think you need some more tuning done to take care of that. I think you have at least another 25-30rwhp out of that setup. Good luck.

Also, was that a Mustang Dyno, or a Dynojet?

That is a little better. Those numbers aren't too bad man, just take care of the small stuff like the plugs and wires, get the car tuned a little better, and you will see much better numbers. Good Luck.

Wires and plugs won't help the AF, and yes, you might want to make it just a little richer. Rich is always better than lean.

the shoppiness of the graph means igniton problem right? could the maf be malfunctioning? maybe cause of the lean condition?

if your saying that the car was running 14.8 a/f ratio at wot throttle. that is way to lean it needs to be about 12.8 to 13.1. he leaned it out way. WAY TO MUCH. in closed loop is 14.7. wot or open loop is factory at 11.7 to 1 af ratio. i personally would not run that car at wot throttle till you get that reprogramed. your running leaner in at open throttle. than in closed loop

hey i will fix it for you at no charge if your willing to meet me half way im only about a hour and a half. but honestly the best thing to do is go get it tuned on a dyno with a wide band 02

sorry just relized your obd2. sorry i tried to help.

If you've got the hotcam kit with the headers and the rest of that stuff, you should be seeing I'd say at least 310-320. I'd say take the car to a different person to have it tuned.

With the hotcam, it should've dynoed over 300rwhp with no problem. Just need tuning bad.
