Just, bolts right up. Still got my V6 steel driveshaft. The T-56, T-5, 700R4, and 4L60E's all have the same driveshaft length.

I am not sure what year they quit using 2 piece drive shafts in the the V6 cars, but even if he has a two piece, your one piece will still replace it ok. He will just have to remove the intermediate bearing.

I thought there was in interference on some V6's with the harmonic damper ring that is mounted at the front of the V8 one-piece driveshaft?

Re: help! Driveshaft ?'s

T-56 = six speed
700r4 = automatic that came in thirdgens (not sure if the fourthgen v6's use this or the 4L60E)
4L60E = automatic from a fourthgen v8 (maybe v6)
T-5 = 5 speed that came in the v6 fourthgens.
