How much do I need to cut off the front springs to lower it.
I am clueless here... Can anyone help? Got pictures?

Thanks,

I recall an article in GM High Tech where they cut 1/3 of one loop off of a set of Eibach springs they were installing to get an additional 1/2" drop in the front. Their comment was that every Eibach install they had done required this mod to look just right.
Be sure to use a cutting disk on a grinder or equivalent, DO NOT use a cutting torch as it will ruin the heat treatment of your springs.

And those people aren't very bright.

Quit being cheap and spend a little $ to do it right.

I will probably get flamed for refering to a ford mag but i have a ford mag where they had free mods and one was lowering your stock springs by cutting them. They said it was alright and i would like to think they did some research on the subject before they said it was alright.

Don't believe everything you read in a mag. Cutting is unpredictable and imprecise. It does not cost that much to do it right with manufactured lowering springs.
