Help clutch promblems !!!!!!

Okay guys here is the run down. I have a Mclead aftermarket master cylinder, spec 2 clutch. The clutch has about 1,000 miles and has worked great. Installed new master cylinder took to track and ran 11.40 120 mph no promblems. Then car sat for a few weeks while it was painted. When I got it back it ran fine for a few days a then the clutch started slipping. BUt it doesnt slip all the time. Might run fine one day and slip the next. But you cant smell the clutch like you would if it was slipping. Do you all thank that it is in the clutch or maybe the hydrualics? Maybe it could be in the slave cylinder? Also does anyone make a adjustable slave for the lt1 yet? Any help from you guys would be great. Also one more question if it turns out to be the clutch can I just get a up graded stage 3 disk to run with my pressure plate? Thanks

The problem could lie in the pressure in the line, maybe the clutch is not fully engaging 100% of the time, this would explain the erratic slipping. Just a thought

That is what I was kinda thinking but shouldn't I have even more pressure now than before with the aftermarket master cylinder? What would be a good way to check the pressure? Thanks for your input.

thank god, I thought mine was the only SOB that was doing exactly the same thing I was told an adjustable master cylinder will fix mine so you might wanna change where your's is engaging mine is grabbing right about 2 inches from the top so if yours is similiar try that. Let me know what you find out and i'll aply that to mine! as far as someone making one mCloed makes one 260! but I'm trying to track down weither or not an LS1 adj. master will work or not everyone that makes one ie RAM, Mcloed show the same part number so I'm gonna order one through Jegs and try it if it doesn't work send it back!

okay Here is what I done to fix the promblem. Dont know why or how it worked but it did. I took the hose lose from the clutch resevoir shot about 150 psi of air why friend pumped clutch. repeated a couple of times while putting a little fluid back in. car now runs like it use to. I have the ajustable master cylinder for mine and it is the ls1 so it will work with yours. I was wondering if we could track down a slave cylinder that has a bleeder for our car.
