HELP! Car wont start after garaged for winter.
18 year old newbie here, dont laugh if I ask a stupid question. ok, i put my car away in a heated garage in November. I just put in an NX nitrous kit a week earlier. A few days after I put it away car wont start (I missed it
). I took the battery out and recently my dad took it to get charged. Went to start it tonight and it wont start. I have battery power and the starter whines, but it wont fire up.
Why is this? Is it not getting any fuel?
Did I drain the battery by hooking the red wire up to the positive terminal during the nitrous install?
Any input is appreciated.

Hey Wisconsin Bro!
Hey I live over in a small town just east of Portage. Anyways here is a couple quick checks you can do!
1st check is easy, spark!!!
1). pull a spark plug out, or just use a good one you have laying around, hook it back to the spark plug wire, hold it to a good ground (like the exhaust manifold) have someone crank the engine while you hold it tight to ground (with a glove on he he) and see if you got a nice blue spark! If you do, its not the ignition. You can also use a timing light, clip it on and see if the light flashes bright while cranking.
2). Fuel, LT1's have a schrader valve (like your valve stem on your tires, except for fuel). You need a fuel pressure gauge that hase a schrader valve connector on it (cheap, Farm& fleet around $10-$15) screw it on the schrader valve that is on your fuel rail, crank engine over and you should have like 30 -50 PSI (have to look in y service manual, but 30-50 PSI is close) Its cold here in WI right now, I just had a problem with a truck that was sitting for 3 days and it had moisture in the gas, yup froze! had to thaw it out. Dump some heat in there if its cold where you have it sitting.
let me know how these check out.
