help with car having no power after turning off

so i just plugged my battery abck in after ahving it out for a month and it would crank, but wouldn't fire, so i had to jump it. started right up all was good. then i turned te car off and tried to immediatley turn it back on and nothing, no lights, no bells or whistles, nothing. so i jumped it again, turn off, same thing. triewd it one last time to move it for the night, jumped it and turned it off and wwhen i went to turn it back on, it cranked, but wouldn't start then i tried again and it started. what do u guys think? loose wire somewhere? or am i looking at a alternator going bad? btw my battery is not even 2 years old.

I had this problem. My red power wire going to the starter was corroded all th way through the cable, not sure how this happens, but i replaced and it started fine.

You never said how long you would let the car run for after you jumped it? Just letting the car idle for a few minutes isn't really enough to get the battery going again. But aside from that it could be the alternator. Or the wiring. I would check the little red box on the passenger side wheel well corosion there can cause all kinds of problems.

i hope its just the wire, i'll check today, maybe the contact bolt got a little rusty in the winter time. i would ussually let the car run for about 10 minutes or more, letting it get to running temps, etc. also i drove it down the road and back a few times on the second try when it just had no power wat-so-ever on startup
