Angry Help!!! Car Is Dead!!!

Ok, here is the scoop. I got gas late at night on my way home. I went home let the car sit over night. I got in it to go to school in the morning and it started up running like crap, it was hesitating too. I was like it will prolly get better, it got a little better by the time i got to school. I parked it till i was done with class, drove it home. It was running like crap on the way home. So, i went out later that night and it didnt get an better. I rolled in the parking lot at my apartment and it just died, where it hasnt started again.

Things that i have checked: i checked maf, all the air intake stuff, checked to see if water pump leaking, then i checked the coil to see if opti was getting spark, and it sparked, then i checked to see if spark was coming off the opti. When i checked for spark off the opti, i unplugged two randome boots on the car and hooked them up to a spark plug i bought at autozone and i got a single blue spark when i tried to crank the car, then another try i got a single orange spark and thats it. One time i got a huge backfire trying to start it.

Anyone know what the hell is causing this, feel free to help me out. I changed the opti about 10k ago with an oreily's unit. Is there anything else that could cause this besides the opti. I have access to some tools, but most are at my house 50 miles away.

Please help me asap. Thanks in advance, Michael

Re: Help!!! Car Is Dead!!!

You said you checked the Coil? My 94 had a starting problem similar to yours, the coil was dying. It still produced some spark but was on it's way out. Also bang on your gas tank. You might not have enough fuel pressure if your pump is going.
