Question Help with Cam set-up.

Okay i posted earlier about roller rocker and springs but have decided to spend the extra money and go with full cam, rockers, valve springs etc. What do you all recommend?? the car will be street/strip (mostly street) and it's a weekend car so i driveability isn't a HUGE issue. I'm going to have a professional do the install but what parts do i need to order I think i want to go bigger than the hotcam? possibly cc306. What all do i need to buy to do this set-up right and i mean EVERYTHING because when it comes to motor work i'm clueless. SOmeone help me out here. I would like to see as much hp increase as possible as the car is now roughly 300rwhp will all bolt-ons. as of right now i can't afford headwork so i know that will be an issue.

Re: Help with Cam set-up.

Here's the setup I will be installing in a week. Most will agree that it is one of, if not the best off the shelf cam for stock heads.

Comp Cams XE 224/230 .536/.544
Comp Cams Pro Magnum 1.6 Non self aligning 7/16" roller rockers
Comp Cams 26918-16 Beehive springs
Comp Cams 4705-16 Spring seats
Comp Cams 614-16 10* locks
Comp Cams 795-16 Retainers
Comp Cams 3136 Double roller timing set (requires electric water pump conversion)
GM #14011051 guideplates (8 qty).

That's a stout setup, similar to mine. One thing missing is pushrods, I used the Comp hi-teck pushrods.
