HELP!! Broke something
HELP!! Broke something
When I was installing my plugs and wires in my 95Zconv(with longtubes if that matters) I broke a plug. It is a plug that plugs into the driver side engine block under the headers towards the front. Anyone know what it is.
I have not started car since I dont know what it does and I am not finished with the wire install.
Just found out what it is

How important is it and where can I get another one. It snapped so half of the plug is still in the whole and the metal prongs are in the other half. So I can plug it is but would need tape to secure it and the headers would melt that in minutes

Assuming you've found out that it's the coolant temperature sensor, it's not important at all (at least for engine management). That is the sensor used for your coolant temperature gauge in your dashboard; nothing more.
A replacement is part number 25037332 and runs for $10.61.
