Help, Anyone know the size of the bolt for the Pan Hard Rod (PHR)? SHOEBOX?

Long story short, i was drivin to go out tonight and i hear something dragging on the ground....i look and its the damn PHR, one of the ends (drivers side) was hanging on the ground, so the bolt must have came off sometime on the way home from school (3.5 hr drive)....

Does anyone have the correct size/length for the bolt thats needed?
And has anyone ever had this happen?

Thanks guys...

in the air you should tighten the sway bar when its on the ground or with the weight applied

bolt GM PART # 11516933
nut GM PART # 11515744 (way more expensive than the bolt). You want to use a prevailing torque nut, so it does not come loose.

Bolt size and thread is M12 x 1.75, but I don't know the length. It is the same as the upper bolt. As you have probably already guessed, it is a high grade bolt.

It is very dangerous not to have the panhard rod secured on our cars, as the rod limits left and right travel of the rear end housing. IMO, you were extremely luck to have made it home like that.

Yeah, I'd give the Panhard and LCA mount points, and the torque arm a good checkout while you're under there. Look for bent or cracked brackets.

Thanks guys...
The LCA relocation brackets were welded on so im hopin there was no damage to anything else..

I didnt drive on it long with it fallen off...
Its weird, i drove home, parked, washed the car and then was about to leave and i heard it then, so it just happened then...

Anyways,...

whats the best way to tighten it? this meaning since one end is already bolted on and the other one isnt..i know how to do if it were starting from nothing...

in the air because you may have to shift the rear side to side a little to get it to line up(the bolt hole that is) not possible with the weight of the car on the axle

Sounds good. Tighten it on the ground if possible.

Lift the rear up by the frame, and push the axle left/right so you can get the bolt through the other end of the Panhard rod. Put the nut on it. Drop the car to the ground and torque the bolt. Both bolts, I suppose...
