HELP...annoying vibration
HELP...annoying vibration
ok guys heres the deal...at highway speeds (65-70mph, 2k-2,200RPM) im experiencing some vibration through the floor...primarily from the passenger side but only when the wheel is straight or to the left, as soon as i turn it 1/4" to the right the vibration goes away...at first i thought maybe it was a wheel bearing, so i replace the whole hub bearing assembly but that didn't do anything....it's not an alignment problem and i just got my tires re-balanced...this is what im thinking now, at idle when i go from Park into a gear a get a little rattle from the CAT, i tapped on it and it sounds as if it might be broken up inside, now the exhaust hanger joins the I-pipe right behind my CAT and is attached to the rear of the tranny where the driveshaft yolk goes into the trans....could my vibration be coming from my CAT?...when i turn the wheel to the right is it releasing just enough weight on one side of the car and flexing the chasis just enough to make the vibration go away?....anything you guys can think of will help at this point...thanks a lot
