My friends got a 94 TA, and the trans will not shift in the low gears, he has to just let off the gas completly to get it to shift. Ive heard it could be a thousand diffrent things, but its probably time for a new transmission. Which would be the perfect time to go ahead and drop in the turbo 350, but I doubt he will, any suggestions?

 

In a full weight car, a T350 is going to die. Put in a 400 if you go that route.
