help! 95 lt1 white smoke...

lol i know right i guess it was just one of those days... but just enough water to fill the air pump and iv replace the oil twice since then just in case. figure something that simple didnt work. but i found someone thatll do it for $300 cuz i just dont have the tools or time to do it in my college apartment parking lot lol

The location you describe in the throttle body is the location of the hole that goes up into the top chamber on the throttle body.

As already explained (in less detail), if you have excessive blowby, or coolant entering the oil, as the engine heats up the moisture is driven off, the pressure builds up and the water vapor vents out of the passenger side valve cover, through the vent hose to the connection on the side of the throttle body, into the top chamber, and if you had enough water (hard to believe, but apparently its happening) it would drip out the hole on top of the "V" between the throttle bores, and would be sucked into the intake manifold, and then into the combustion chambers = white smoke.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I go to college in Eastern Washington, but luckily I have a relative that owns a house and garage (but doesn't stay there) that I use when I don't want to work outside of the dorm parking lot. I have most of my auto tools here, though.

But yeah, Injuneer knows what's up. It does sound like you are having a problem with coolant in your oil, but you said you DON'T have any white smoke our the exhaust, right?
