ok i have a 93 z28 rebuilt 5.7 2800 stall 3.73 gears 3 inch flowmaster and a aftermarket chip

ok started it the other day ran fine got half a block from my house and it just dies and wouldnt start. would only crank. let it sit a couple days and it fired up and did the same thing

please help with any suggestions whats wrong

What does it do when you try to start it and won't? Does it crank over?

 

yeah it will just crank. i let it sit a couple days and give it a little gas and it fired up than drove a bit and just died

 

sounds like your pump is priming but not maintaining pressure put a gauge on the shrader valve and see what it reads.

Since you have a 93, you can check the ECM for codes by shorting the ALDL connector and flashing the codes on the SES light. Might show you a stored code for the problem that prevented it from starting.
